Which license should I choose?
Choose the files and usage limits that fit your song. MP3 Lease includes an MP3. WAV Lease includes MP3 and WAV. PRO STEMS includes MP3, WAV and the stems listed for that beat. Compare the license options before choosing.
How are the stream limits counted?
For MP3 Lease and WAV Lease, the limit is the combined on-demand audio and video streams across platforms for the licensed song. MP3 Lease allows up to 25,000 and WAV Lease up to 150,000. Check your license before you approach the limit.
Does PRO STEMS mean unlimited use?
PRO STEMS has no ordinary stream cap for the licensed song, subject to the other license terms. It remains a license for one song. The stems cannot be reused in another song or distributed separately.
Do I own the beat after purchasing a license?
A license grants the usage rights stated in its terms. Copyright, publishing and ownership of the underlying beat do not automatically transfer to you.
Can I register my song with Content ID?
Written BeatPlace approval is required before registering the beat or a song made with it in Content ID or a comparable fingerprinting system. Contact us with the beat title or ID before registering.
Do I need to credit the producer?
Yes. Use the producer credit supplied with your order.
Where can I find my purchased files?
Check your order confirmation and the Downloads section of your account. Download access depends on the payment and order status. If a paid order is missing its files, contact us with the order number and the email used at checkout.
What are stems?
Stems are separate audio parts of a beat that give you more control over the balance of your mix. Check the product and license details for the exact files included; every beat can have a different stem set.
My download is not working. What should I do?
Check that your order has been paid and that you are using the download link associated with that order. If it still does not work, send us the order number and a description of the problem. Do not send your password or card details.
How can I use a free pack?
The usage terms belong to the specific free pack. Read them before downloading or releasing a song. Free access does not by itself mean unrestricted commercial use.
Can I buy a beat exclusively?
Contact us with the beat title or ID to ask about availability. Exclusive terms are agreed separately. Earlier lawful non-exclusive licenses remain valid under their original terms.
